What are you doing? (Twitter)
So I registered with twitter, it was something I'd heard of, but never felt tempted by, until that is I saw someone had registered which is quite important to me.
About 4 hours later I saw Stephen Fry on Top Gear was an avid fan, at this point, I realised this probably would be something I begrudged for taking up my time.
The G1 has a few apps for using twitter, I installed twidroid after googling for a bit. I have no idea if this is "the best", people so frequently argue these things, and I'd rather just get on with it. the addition of it to my phone has made my phone both much more enjoyable & twitter far more accessible, it's just too convenient to pass up.
The fact that this is enhanced by the ability to take a picture on the phone and upload in one simple action is such a feature, instantly publishing both news and random trivia or tid bits.
Twitter does a great job of making me, at least, feeling invited, and also like I'm within the social network of whoever I add. It makes you feel closer to idols, friends, and loved ones, by such a simple thing, asking one question.
What are you doing?
P.S I will see about installing the twitter feed to the website when I get time, the church website (yes I know, ironic, me being busy with a church website as an atheist) is taking up a lot of time, but uses twitter in the design.

I was messing around with some ideas for sketches to put on my new bedroom wall, I came up with this as one of the ideas, influenced by Banksy & by Douglas Adams.

A certain young man from Bombay
Caught the slow boat to China one day.
He was pinned to the tiller
By a sex-starved gorilla -
And China's a bloody long way.

In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move. ~ Douglas Adams
Just please send away the tigers...
I at last got around to browsing for new music, the only place I've really browsed in my home town is a small Morrisons branch, which seems to specialise only in pop and rap music...
Anyone who knows me should know one of, if not actually my favourite band is Manic Street Preachers, and whilst "Send Away The Tigers" isn't their newest album, it happened to be what the small store in Rugby had.
First off, I have to say, this is very different to Lifeblood, even though I have bad memories tied to that album I do like it. Send Away The Tigers is a whole new animal though, it's far more lively, far more infectious, if you don't like a song then by the end of a few plays you certainly will.
My main issue with Manics albums, is that I always get far too engrossed in them, and always connect with a song or two. S.A.T.T isn't any different, songs like "Rendition" and "Send Away The Tigers" itself. It's a bit unusual for Manics to name an album after a song, but I can see why here, it may be a generic song you can put anywhere, but it has amazing sing along capabilities.
Anyway, off I pop to listen to it some more.
