So I registered with twitter, it was something I'd heard of, but never felt tempted by, until that is I saw someone had registered which is quite important to me.

About 4 hours later I saw Stephen Fry on Top Gear was an avid fan, at this point, I realised this probably would be something I begrudged for taking up my time.

The G1 has a few apps for using twitter, I installed twidroid after googling for a bit. I have no idea if this is "the best", people so frequently argue these things, and I'd rather just get on with it. the addition of it to my phone has made my phone both much more enjoyable & twitter far more accessible, it's just too convenient to pass up.

The fact that this is enhanced by the ability to take a picture on the phone and upload in one simple action is such a feature, instantly publishing both news and random trivia or tid bits.

Twitter does a great job of making me, at least, feeling invited, and also like I'm within the social network of whoever I add. It makes you feel closer to idols, friends, and loved ones, by such a simple thing, asking one question.

P.S I will see about installing the twitter feed to the website when I get time, the church website (yes I know, ironic, me being busy with a church website as an atheist) is taking up a lot of time, but uses twitter in the design.
